1. GENERAL

Aluminum monumental project-in windows as shown in the architectural drawings shall be series 3062 as manufactured by SOL-A-TROL Aluminum Products, Miami Fla. and shall meet or exceed AAMA specifications for P-HC-60.

2. MATERIAL

Extruded aluminum 6063-T5 (Alloy and Temper)

FRAMES: The window frame shall have a minimum thickness of 1/8” and a full depth of 2”.

SASH: All sash members shall have a minimum thickness of 1/16”, of tubular construction, and full depth of 2”.

3. CONSTRUCTION

FRAME: All frame members shall be joined by double mortise, tenon, and riveted construction.

SASH: All vents shall be mitered, reinforced and welded and shall be factory sealed.

4. HARDWARE

Ventilators shall be equipped with a pair of heavy duty, non-magnetic stainless steel, 4-bar mechanism, adjustable friction hinges. All locking hardware shall be white bronze with U.S.25-D finish.

5. WEATHER STRIPPING

There shall be a neoprene weather stripping at every contact point between sash and frame.

6. FINISHES

Electro-statically applied baked enamel.

Clear Anodized.

Bronze Hardcoat.

Kynar 500.

7. GLAZING

The glass shall be as specified under Glass and Glazing section, and held in place with extruded snap-in type glazing bead.

8. SCREENS

Screens shall be aluminum frames with an 18 x 16 mesh charcoal fiberglass screen cloth.
