GENERAL

Impact Resistant Aluminum Fixed Windows as shown in the architectural drawings shall be Series 4200 as manufactured by SOL-A-TROL Aluminum Products, Miami, Fla.

MATERIAL

Extruded aluminum 6063-T6 (Alloy and Temper)

CONSTRUCTION

The window frame shall be 1½” x 4” tubular aluminum of .094” minimum thickness. All frame members shall be joined by #10 x 1” plated steel sheet metal screws. (4 per corner) Multiple panels shall be assembled using interlocking vertical framing members. Optional tall sidelite sill available to match daylight opening of door.

FINISHES

Electro-statically applied baked enamel.
Clear Anodized.
Bronze Hardcoat.
Kynar 500

GLAZING

The glass shall be as specified under Glass and Glazing section and product approval, with extruded snap-in glazing bead. Windows shall be factory glazed.
