The new construction of Herbert Ammons Middle School utilized Sol-A-Trol's high-efficiency commercial glazing lines to establish a resilient, modern educational facility. Collaborating with Florida Lemark and Zyscovich Architects, Sol-A-Trol manufactured and delivered the Series 3000 Impact Casement windows and Series 5000 Impact Window Wall systems. Specially engineered for the demanding coastal climate and strict building codes of Miami-Dade County, these deep framing profiles ensure superior structural stability under severe weather conditions.

The high-performance fenestration layout maximizes ambient day-lit spaces to enhance the learning environment while establishing a highly rigid barrier against cyclic storm forces. The Series 5000 Window Wall allows the architectural team to capture vast expanses of glass with structural confidence, while the Series 3000 Casement windows offer dependable localized ventilation. This synergy between design freedom and verified large-missile impact testing provides general contractors with a straightforward installation and long-term operational peace of mind.
